Founded in 1965 by Bill Dumbleton, Rural & Urban Property set out to provide exceptional construction services, marking the beginning of a legacy rooted in quality and dedication.
Just two years later, in 1967, Bill founded Ambassador and registered it as a cleaning company, and by 1970, the first office was established at Peel Street, North Melbourne. The same year, Ambassador expanded its offerings to include comprehensive building maintenance services. Our commitment to excellence continued as we purchased our current office on the edge of the CBD in 1984, and in 1995, Bill became a proud member of the Master Builders Association of Victoria, solidifying our industry presence. After becoming a Licensed Building Practitioner in 1966, Bill’s vision was carried forward when his son, William Dumbleton, joined the company in 2003, introducing security services to our portfolio.
